  Every major holiday of the year has certain traditions and customs. It can be said that holiday customs are as varied as there are nations in the world celebrating them. Even Christian feasts celebrated worldwide are observed differently by the people of various countries. Lithuanian nation is rich in customs, traditions and rituals. Our folklore and perception of the world hold a wealth of information on calendar feast.
